I'm having a hard time deciding which jobs to apply to, & staying motivated. I have a spreadsheet of ones I've found, with salary & a link to their description online, etc. My knowledge-set is kind of esoteric & specific, and there aren't a lot of jobs in the field in this area.
I guess my biggest question right now is: Where do you find your job postings? I've been finding mine through state government websites (so they're all state government jobs).
A related issue for me is that, if I can get job listings emailed to me, great, but if organizations/websites don't even have that capability, I am really bad at checking back, esp. if I have to wend thru job listings that aren't user-friendly (f'rex, I have yet to find a sort of EU-govt-&-related-orgs mass job listing aggregation -- I've found a page that has links to the job pages for different orgs, but as if I'm going to click through a dozen or two of those???).
I find general job search websites (eg. Monster) to be too big to be useful for me; IDK, when I was back in the US I used to look at listings through sites for nonprofit jobs, etc., which I wonder if might also be a possibility for you? (Thinking transferable skills + maybe a slightly higher possibility of jobs that are less heinous/more interesting?)
