THIS WEEK. LOL. I got hit with a cold and so, while I saw an awesome job alert, I was not going to apply when I was out of my head on cold meds and lack of sleep. So I waited. And then the job disappeared. SHIT. I really wish these things all had end dates listed. If I'd known it was going to disappear, I'd've muscled through and send in using my last resume, which should have been close enough. I should have done that.

On the up side, I never would have heard anything anyway, no one would ever have contacted me, it just would have disappeared into a hole in the universe, so what the fuck, what's the point of it all. *bangs head against things*

I *really wish* job hunting was not lather, rinse, repeat of "apply, never hear anything". It makes it all seem so pointless. What's the point of applying? Nothing's ever going to happen.

arrrrggghhh agreed. There's a part-time job and the deadline is TODAY and I wrote a draft of a cover letter and everything and I'm sort of just too nervous/busy/stressed to finish it up and send it in. It's doubtful I'll be picked for an interview anyway.

Aw, hell, that's almost a reason in and of itself to finish the cover letter and send it along... *joins you in the head banging*

yeah, I guess do it, becaue it won't hurt? It might never help, but at least it's practice?

I don't even know. It's an employers market, so who cares about the job seekers? It's not like we're important.

Yes, and I haven't had practice in a long while. I have *a* part-time job, but I'm not using my skills nor am I making enough to live off of, so it's time to get back into the job hunting game.
